In Our Words
Each year the Nashville Adult Literacy Council publishes a book of stories, titled In Our Words, written by our learners, tutors, and teachers. These stories cover a variety of topics and are often a big accomplishment for our learners. We are lucky to have the opportunity for our learners to share their stories with you.
All of our learners, tutors, and teachers are encouraged to write stories for the annual book! If you or your learner decide to write a story, don’t forget to provide us a signed permission slip. Without a signed permission slip we will not be able to publish the story. Permission slips and stories may be faxed to 615-298-8444, emailed to info@nashvilleliteracy.org, or dropped off or mailed to our West Nashville Office.
