Enrollment
To become a learner at the Nashville Adult Literacy Council, you must be 18 years or older and work or live in Davidson County. Please bring something with your name and current address on it: driver’s license, piece of mail, or checkbook. Registration may be two hours long. Do not bring children with you. If you bring a child, you will be asked to leave. If you are an adult immigrant learner, you may bring someone with you to translate. Otherwise, do not bring friends or family members.
Attendance Rules
If you miss an appointment two times for the reasons below, you cannot return to our program for six months.
- Canceling the day of your appointment.
- Arriving more than 15 minutes late to your appointment.
- Not coming to your appointment.
