Southeast Library Closing

The Southeast branch of Nashville Public Library is moving! The current branch, located at 2325 Hickory Highlands Drive, will close at 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 5. If you and your learner meet at this library, we encourage you to take a break for a few weeks. The new Southeast branch library will be located 5260 Hickory Hollow Parkway. The Grand Opening is scheduled for October 21, 10:00 a.m.. For more information, read here.

Meet the Staff: Jill Mora

Jill Mora began volunteering with the Nashville Adult Literacy Council in 2006. She spent two years teaching English to a woman from El Salvador. While volunteering in this way, Jill developed a love for foreign language and an appreciation for the basic need to communicate with others. After serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Tennessee Literacy Coalition, Jill began working at the NALC in 2010 as Start Now Coordinator and Office Manager at the West Nashville office.
